Vasiliki worked at the OTE Group of Companies (OTEnet, OTE, Cosmote) for 25 years as a Digital Systems and Services Administrator, gaining significant expertise in the demanding areas of support, organization and process automation of the Internet and its applications.
At the same time, as a personal social impact side project, she created the online community AMEAplus, a nonprofit website for people with disabilities. She also participates in the Athens Classic Marathon every year since 2011 in support of a humanitarian organization; initially, she ran for Doctors Without Borders, and now, for Children First.
Vasiliki’s desire to create meaningful social impact professionally recently led her to leave the telecommunications industry and embark on a new career path in the nonprofit world.
She is a graduate of the Department of Industrial Management & Technology of the University of Piraeus.
She loves the sea, cinema, quiet islands, she is a minimalist and is excited to discover the small joys of life. She believes in the creation of a more just, more inclusive society with opportunities for vulnerable groups, primarily children.
