Children First receives an Award from the Hellenic Respiratory Society
On Sunday, December 15, the Children First-Πρώτα το Παιδί, was honored by the Hellenic Respiratory Society as part of the 33rd Panhellenic Respiratory Conference. During the Conference, our co-founder Anestis Bozoglanian presented our work to the audience, and afterwards the award was presented, accompanied by a donation to cover the needs of the families we support.
We warmly thank the Hellenic Respiratory Society, its Board President Mr. S. Loukidis, and all its members for their support!

Informational Event on Skills Development 2024
On Wednesday, July 3, we held our third informational event at the Aigaleo Municipality Hub as part of the Child First program, Girls Empowering Girls (GEG). The session was dedicated to skills development, and our speaker was Ioanna Oikonomopoulou, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Agile Actors.
Ioanna showed parents how to craft a complete CV and set up a LinkedIn profile, while she informed the teens about the skills in demand in today’s job market. She then answered all participants’ questions in a brief, creative discussion.
The project is supported by the Program for the Empowerment of Civil Society Organizations active in the field of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, which was designed and is implemented by Social Dynamo, the NGO Hub of the Bodossaki Foundation.

Informational Event on Nutrition
On Wednesday, June 5th, we held our first informational event at the Municipality of Aigaleo’s Hub as part of the Putting Children First program, Girls Empowering Girls (GEG).
The presentation focused on one of the three main pillars we support — nutrition — and was delivered by our collaborator, nutritionist Christina Kostara. Following the talk, parents asked many questions about healthy eating habits.
The project is supported by the Civil Society Organization Empowerment Program, which focuses on gender equality and women’s empowerment. The program was designed and is implemented by Social Dynamo, the NGO hub of the Bodossaki Foundation.

Chrysologou Event
On May 28, the Chrysologou Insurance Inspection company held an awards event at the Athens Marriott Hotel, which honored the Children First organization.
During the event, our co-founder, Anestis Bozoglanian, presented our organization and its work to all the company’s insurance agents. This was followed by a short video about us and the receipt of a donation check.
We warmly thank the company, and especially Mr. Christos Chrysologou, for the valuable support they have been providing to our families since 2021!

Opening night of the Art Exhibition For (we are all Children) by Vivian Zotali, dedicated to Children First
Artist Vivian Zotali dedicated her solo art show hosted at ACS Athens June 13-17 featuring 39 original paintings to Children First.
A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork was donated in support of our work.
